Middle East Bank, Munich Branch was established in 2018 and registered in the Munich Commercial Register as a branch of Middle East Bank, Tehran (MEB). It is subject to German banking regulation/supervision.
Our primary mission is to provide financial services for trade relations between Iran and Germany, covering the entire value chain of a trade finance specialist bank. Our vision is to be a strong partner for Iranian and German customers as an independent bank with a private ownership structure by providing modern financial solutions and creating value for all stakeholders.
We commenced operations on 21 December 2018. Since then, Middle East Bank, Munich Branch has been focusing on foreign trade between Germany and Iran, in particular on transactions in the field of humanitarian goods, as well as the agricultural, food or medical sectors. Therefore, our range of services is also strongly tailored to this focus and to corporate clients overall.
